The Postpartum Stress Center services include, but are not limited to:

  • Screening and diagnostic assessment for prenatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders

  • Psychiatric consultation and med management

  • Consultation, training and supervision for healthcare professionals

  • Risk assessment and counseling for women with a history of emotional illness who are preparing for pregnancy.

  • Psychotherapy for depression and anxiety during pregnancy and the postpartum period (OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, psychosis)

  • Grief counseling for miscarriage, stillbirth, newborn loss or termination

  • Pre and post abortion support

  • Adoption support

  • Infertility support

  • Neonatal Intensive Care support

  • Reproductive health issues

  • Support for complications related to pregnancy & birth (Unexpected Outcomes Program)

  • Support for exploration of women’s issues including self-esteem, sexuality, body image, intimacy

  • Menopause support

  • Premenstrual dysphoric disorder

  • Marriage/relationship counseling

  • Individual, group and couples therapy

  • Support groups
