Anorexia and Pregnancy

Ekeus C et al. Birth Outcomes and pregnancy complication in women with a history of anorexia nervoisa BJOG 2006 August; 113:935-9

In this Swedish study, (the largest sample to date)they concluded that the prior maternal nutritional status did not affect the neonatal birth weight. They do caution, however, that special attention be placed on pregnancy women who have active AN.
