Samantha earned her Dual Master’s Degrees in Social Work and Human Sexuality Education from Widener University after graduating from LSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Throughout graduate school, she served the perinatal population in both hospital and outpatient settings. Samantha holds a PA Social Work Licensure, and has continued to expand her passion for Women’s Mental Health & Wellness through the completion of various trainings, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and DONA International’s Birth Doula certification. In addition to providing clinical services at The Postpartum Stress Center, Samantha also works at a local community outpatient agency focusing on the perinatal, LGBTQ+, and adolescent populations. She also serves as a birth doula within the Greater Philadelphia Area. Samantha is thrilled to join The Postpartum Stress Center team.
Throughout my experience as both a therapist and birth doula, I am continuously amazed by the strength, vulnerability, and beauty that radiates throughout each client’s journey. It is my goal to provide a warm and supportive environment for women (and their partners) to process their evolving emotions, challenges, inner dialogues, and everything in between.
